Pioneering the First Professional Spades League in the Metaverse: A Groundbreaking Journey

Although it’s not my first time on TSB, it is the first time I actively went for a full exploration. The gaming aspect of this experience is pretty new to me, aside from navigation of the space (always a challenge), my avatar (🧟♀️Halloween-inspired 🎃) needs to complete mini-games known as quests. Upon completion, there’s an opportunity to win prizes, get rewards and entries to raffles.
Through these gamified steps, the brand aims to educate the Web3 community on Gucci’s heritage, past, present and future.
After exploring Gucci Vault of close to 4 hours….
👜 Play-to-Know (P2K): by navigating and playing these mini-games, Gucci aims to educate the Web3 community and non-natives on Gucci’s heritage.
👜 Use of story telling: a Master Artisan (a NPC, non player character) interacts with avatar and tells a story. In this instance, 🧟♀️ learned new facts about the origin of Gucci. It started as a 💼 luggage atelier in Florence in 1921.
👜Digital Collectibles (NFT): for fans of Gucci, you can win (or buy) the limited edition Gucci NFTs. In this season, your 🧟♀️ Avatar can wear or share the bag, skate ramp, hat or car throughout the metaverse and show off your status and Gucci loyalty.
👜 the Vault gallery is visually stunning to see all of the Gucci past and current Web3 collaborations or art. By interacting with it, more information is shared, or it may be directed to a link where it can be viewed (or purchased)
👜 Gucci x Palace: Their latest collaboration meant you’d see skate ramps around, and there’s a quiz about the inspiration behind the collab.
The Sandbox
✨Play-to-Earn (P2E): Complete the challenges, level up and earn tokens to unlock additional rewards and perks, such as whitelists.
✨some digital collectibles would unlock new emotes, skills and special powers to finish the challenges quicker.
✨a range of mini-games ranging from simple to complex allow native gamers and new ones to have a sense of achievement.
✨find the highest point of the land to get an overview of the game. Zooming out will give an eagle’s eye view of the Gucci Vault land. It’s a spectacular sight!
✨there is a time commitment to playing, all of your progress would be lost if exit before you reach a new level- which means that’s more time to learn about Gucci!
