My opinion is that it can’t be stopped, no matter how much you dislike it. Why? A metaverse created by Mark Zuckerberg is nothing more than an opportunity for Big Tech to take over our lives and profit from it.

Perhaps Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his staff were aware of the grim forecasts regarding the future of work. He’s aware that in a few decades’ time, robots will be able to take the place of humans in almost every job.

Insurance agents, physicians, and educators might all have some or all of their occupations eliminated by artificial intelligence (AI). In the end, an experienced doctor depends heavily on pattern recognition, and who better than artificial intelligence to recognize patterns?

Policymakers should spend more time analyzing the dangers of developing more intelligent robots, but they don’t. In the near future, there will be a major shift in the job market. Algorithms using machine learning will be able to process and respond to information far more rapidly than humans. What would people do in their leisure time if robots were capable of handling practically every job that humans could do?

One of the most common responses is that we’ll be able to participate in leisure activities without restriction. Too much free time might be an issue. Working is critical to maintaining a positive outlook on life.

Governments and society as a whole are struggling to keep up with the rapid advancements in AI and robots. Consciously or subconsciously, the political system will refrain from interfering here. Until recently, politicians have given the impression that they don’t care about the future of technology and are content to leave it in the hands of the market or Facebook.

The Metaverse is Facebook’s answer to the question of how to keep the masses from going crazy from boredom if they lose their jobs to technology.

Zuckerberg’s virtual reality will allow people to control their emotions and give an outlet for all of their primal dreams. Humans will no longer be rewarded for their actions in the real world, but rather in the virtual one. In today’s society, we are seeing a decline in interpersonal relationships as well as a decrease in physical activity. These virtual worlds hold the attention of children for long periods of time.

Currently, Facebook is only a screen in front of you, but the company is working to create a virtual world that will eventually take the place of the actual one and enable users to enjoy both authentic and surreal experiences. World leaders, like Google and Facebook CEOs, will be able to sleep easily since no one is going to stage a revolution.
