Explained: Why Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse still leaves a lot to the imagination

As you know, Metaverse is a digital world where you could enter with a VR headset or using augmented reality on a smartphone or even just a web browser. A lot of people call it the next evolution of the internet. Apparently, things have not been good for Meta’s Horizon since the big re-branding exercise a year ago. There are a lot of Meta horizon worlds that have been built but only less than 10% of them have been actually visited by more than 50 people. However, according to the Market Research Future report, the Metaverse market will hit $105,597.5 million by 2030, registering a 45.2% CAGR during the forecast period of 2024–2030.
