Is the Metaverse the next great mission field? Is it legit ministry, or just a distraction? What even IS the Metaverse and HOW do I get there? IS JESUS LORD OF THE METAVERSE?

In this video, we’ll explore all of these questions as I take you with me on my first time visiting Life Church in the Metaverse in virtual reality using the Meta Quest 2 VR headset (formerly Oculus Quest)! You can also use just your computer, phone, or other VR headsets like Meta Quest Pro, Pico 4, PSVR2, Quest 3.

I’ll give you a hint on my takeaways…
-There are churches and organizations heavily investing in the Metaverse who are doing legit Kingdom work in the Metaverse.
-Virtual Reality church is incredibly engaging and fascinating.
-Jesus is the Lord of the Metaverse just like He is of the… realverse.

There are other churches like VR Church @vrmmochurch and other experiences I want to explore. There are organizations like the International Mission Board (SBC) @imbmissions that are dedicating teams and research into missions engagement in the Metaverse and gamification.
