I ran an ULTRA marathon in the Metaverse. Worst idea ever.

Ever considered running an ultramarathon in the Metaverse? Of course not.

The physical challenge alone is beyond immense. Not to mention the insane technical hurdles to overcome.

You’d quite literally have to be mad.

And what better word to describe BasedAF CEO and founder, SuperMassive.

Not only did he complete a grueling Metaverse marathon at BasedHQ, but he also raised $100k for Great Ormond Street Hospital in the process.

But the run itself was just the tip of the iceberg – the culmination of a truly insane journey that took him and the team to places they never could’ve expected: across continents and towards the very cutting edge of VR technology.

It may have begun as petty beef with a floppy-haired YouTuber, but it soon became something far greater than anyone could’ve imagined.
