The emergence of blockchain technology has created new opportunities for artists, creators, and collectors. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have revolutionized the way we think about ownership and provenance in the digital world, allowing for the creation and trade of unique digital assets that are verifiably scarce and authentic.

The metaverse, combined with blockchain and NFTs, offers new possibilities for creatives to express themselves in immersive virtual spaces, establish ownership and authenticity of digital assets, and engage in global collaboration. This integration empowers digital collectibles and opens new avenues for artistic innovation, but challenges related to copyright and security must be addressed. The metaverse’s potential lies in transforming art and creativity, fostering transparent connections between creators and their audiences.

This event is part of the ARTeCHÓ project. The main goal of ARTeCHÓ is to create a peer-to-peer learning community for artists to learn more about the technical side of the art-making process and its intersection with new technologies, Cryptoart, blockchain, and NFT marketplaces.

Join our insightful discussion exploring the current state of these pioneering initiatives, the challenges they encounter, and user needs. We will address the following questions:

“Blockchains, NFTs, Metaverse” – Which potential do they offer, and how are they interacting?
Can NFTs and other technological tools be used as a modern method of art monetization and copyright protection?
What are some of the use cases for NFTs in the creative industry?
What potential applications exist within the metaverse?
Participate in this engaging conversation to get insights on how blockchains, NFTs, and the metaverse are shaping the future of the creative industry and paving the way for a new era of innovation and interaction. During the online panel, you will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers.
