The long goodbye ( a virtual funeral in metaverse,English ver.)

“To say goodbye is to die a little” .We got inspirations from an outstanding novel –the Long Goodbye ,by Chandler.
In our story,Tom is a reserve astronaut who never traveled to space. In his thirteenth,he was diagnosed with a fatal disease and his life had not much to left. He customized a special funeral in metaverse to fulfill his uncompleted dream of space traveling.
In this virtual funeral,Tom played the role of a shiny star,while people being invited are astronauts gathering around him. They uploaded memories about Tom that made the star shinier and expand,until it explodes———with its scatters of information interspersing among the metaverse,the long farewell draws an end.
