Will the Metaverse be Pay to Win

Hey everyone, do you think the Metaverse will be Pay to win in terms that you can buy weapons or other unfair advantages with real money ?

in my opinion games like call of Duty are already money machines with special wepons the battlepass etc..

Good Metaverse applications like i plan them dont need those cash streams because they get finanzialized differently

i imagine the metaverse in a way that you have a open world with many buildings and also malls where shops can present their real world products and sell those. the metaverse owner will get rents from those stores + a percentage on sales. players will get a skin for the game as a upsale or they buy it with ingame money.

like this shops and other brands pay for server fees and the development so worlds like those can always provide new updates etc which will make those type of games more interesting for players.
Those games can also made accessable for free for everyone because of this.
