Throughout all of 2022, the metaverse was a super-hot topic. Every conference on every continent was not complete without someone somewhere claiming the metaverse was going to change everything.
Matt Desmier remained cynical and in November 2022 he was invited to Tirana in Albania, to speak at AllWeb2022 on the subject.
In this video he explains the basis for his cynicism. Not so much with the technology or it’s application, but more with the evangelists claiming it will change everything. It will not. Not yet anyway.
